Royal Jelly: Nutrient-Rich Powerhouse
Cancer patients, survivors and even healthy people can always benefit from good nutrients. Those with chronic illness and slow immune response always need that added "edge" to combat pain and fatigue. I know royal jelly is one of those nutrients because it has helped me. Here is a glimpse into the remarkable world of royal jelly!

The Beginning
Having humble beginnings but now known world-wide, BeeAlive was founded in 1989 by Madeline Balletta in the small town of Valley Cottage, New York. In those days, Madeline had been suffering from chronic fatigue and barely able to care for her young son. A friend brought her some royal jelly hoping it might help, and in time after taking the royal jelly she got her stamina back. Convinced of royal jelly's health benefits, she decided to start BeeAlive - at her kitchen table.

For over twenty years she ran the company and increased the product line, while maintaining the value of the products. She has traveled extensively and speaks regularly about her experience. Her son Jason Balletta, married and the father of triplets, now runs the company.

What is Royal Jelly?
Royal Jelly is produced by honeybees and is the exclusive food of the Queen Bee. The Queen Bee lives about six years, compared to the worker bee's six weeks, which is quite remarkable. Because it is such a complex nutritious substance it is used as the integral part of almost every product made by BeeAlive. It has a host of active compounds that assimilate easily into the body, including many nutrients and 10-HDA, which have never been found replicated anywhere else in nature. BeeAlive Royal Jelly is harvested in various parts of Asia from only the finest hand-selected hives. It is always fresh, and never freeze-dried, which provides a more superior product.

The Products - Beauty from the Inside Out
They have two lines of products. They have a nutritional supplement line, and a skin care line. I use some of their products from both lines, and most products have been superior although as always with products for the body, a few were not a good fit for me personally. Overall, I am very happy with what I do use.

The Most Potent Supplements
Their greatest product in my book, is their Royal Jelly in a jar.
Plain (NO Honey):
Pure & Natural – Queen’s Royale Shipped on ice overnight. Diabetics would need this one. Bitter by itself you would want to mix it with something to make it palatable.

Sweet Energy Formula – Queen’s Harvest (mixed with honey: Normal shipping; This is the one I take and it is easily absorbed by the body; especially helpful if you have chronic intestinal problems which can cause low-to-zero absorption of nutrients from food and supplements.

B-12 Plus Twists - A high potency formula of B-12, B-6, Folic Acid. It reduces stress and increases energy. It comes in a small dose with a twist-off top. They recommend up to two per day max. You can easily tuck several in your purse, diaper bag, briefcase, or cell-phone holder, for use during the day, or travel. It’s an excellent product. If you stay highly-stressed, have a compromised immune system, a weak heart, or a compromised cardiovascular system, this product will help you. Like anything else worthwhile, it takes just a few weeks to build up into your system, but you should notice a difference in your stamina.

Other Good Products for Routine Supplementation

Feel Good Formula – Queen’s Capsules (30 caps) - with wheat germ oil base. (This is their #1 selling product.)

ENERGY SERJ – a liquid “shot” in a vial (no oz. listed-Tbsp. maybe), to jump-start your day. Contains no caffeine. Energizes, balances and protects. It contains two powerful herbs, Eleuthero and Schisandra, and of course royal jelly. Athletes could benefit from this one.

CoQ10 Plus – capsules (30 - for heart health, and cellular health. Contains royal jelly.

Omega Plus – capsules (30) for healthy aging, full-spectrum formula from best fish and plant sources; pure.

Rhodiola Plus- capsules (30) to achieve a positive mood, naturally. Contains Siberian “golden root”.

Buffered Vitamin C – capsules (90) immune support, makes collagen, supports skin health.

Defense Formula – (4oz. bottle) contains Echinacea and Goldenseal, plus royal jelly; easily absorbed.

Rooibos & Honeybush Antioxidant Drink – (2 cartons of 15 bags) mix with water for a drink that gives a refreshing lift.

Editor’s Note: These products are naturally powerful and do change your body’s chemistry to do what they are meant to do. WARNING: PLEASE cross-check your medications with these supplements, and ask your physician about adding them to your diet before taking them.

They have a facial cleanser, face cream, body cream, and lip care just to name a few products and have recently re-formulated the skin-care line to be more botanical and pure. I use some of it but have not tried the new line yet. I'm confident the new products will not disappoint.

Great Customer Service
Their customer service team is always helpful, and there are people that you can speak with by phone on a daily basis during regular business hours. They are very knowledgeable about their products, and they handle problems quickly and courteously.

They have a mission statement and a continuing vision that you can read on the website BeeAlive. Besides other projects, at the present time they are working to help stop the Honeybee Colony Collapse Disorder. I highly recommend BeeAlive, especially for those in need of increased stamina from chronic immune disorder from cancer treatments.

Editor's Note: I was not compensated by this company for this review, and the products I use from BeeAlive I purchase myself.
